• 1. Boil water and pour it into a glass container. Wait until the water cools down to approximately 70 degrees Celsius, then immerse the entire rail in the water for a maximum of 30 seconds.
  2. Carefully remove the mouthguard from the water and wait about 2–4 seconds for it to cool slightly. This will make the mouthguard warm, but it won’t burn your lips or tongue.
  3. Gently place the mouthguard on your upper or lower dental arch, pressing it against your teeth with your tongue to remove saliva, and carefully adjust the mouthguard to fit your teeth and gums using your fingers.
  4. After about 1-2 minutes of careful adjustment, remove the mouthguard from your mouth and place it in cold water for at least 2 minutes. Once cooled, the mouthguard will retain its shape and be ready for use.
  If you feel any discomfort or pressure, you can trim any excess material from the mouthguard with a knife or scissors. If the mouthguard does not fit properly, you can repeat the above procedure.
