• Apply a small amount of toothpaste to the surface of the toothbrush. With your teeth slightly apart, position the brush at a 45-degree angle to the tooth surface, making vertical movements from the gum to the crown of the tooth. Perform 10-15 strokes on each side. Finish the cleaning process with a gum massage, which is done by making circular motions with the toothbrush over the teeth and gums, moving from left to right with your teeth closed. Rinse your mouth with a small amount of water, holding it for 10-15 seconds. Dentists and hygienists recommend replacing your toothbrush every 2 months.
  Before using a new toothbrush, rinse it with warm water. After use, store the toothbrush upright with the bristles facing up.
